Ploho, the Russian post-punk band, was formed in 2013, and as the members say, they became connected to punk music during their childhood, in the 1990s, which they describe as cold, dark and unstable times in Russia. The greatest influence on them at that time was the Soviet post-punk band Kino from the 1980s. They have released ten studio albums so far, with the latest being from November 2022 titled “Когда душа спит” (When the Soul Sleeps).
